Comprised of the Copper Sky Multigenerational Center and the Copper Sky Regional Park, this expansive recreational development offers state-of-the-art equipment, grand green spaces and fantastic programs designed to enhance Maricopa residents' quality of life.

The Transportation Assistance program and other resources for Pinal County Residents. The Transportation Assistance Program provides car repairs and bicycles so Pinal County residents can have adequate transportation to get to work.

Osher Lifelong Learning Institutes

There are Osher Lifelong Learning Institutes all around the country.

Locally, both Arizona State University and the University of Arizona have Osher Lifelong Learning Institutes.

These institutes are non-credit lifelong learning programs open to all adults over the age of 50. They are membership driven programs. There are no tests, grades or educational requirements. A $20 per semester membership fee ($10 in the summer semester) entitles you to enroll in university-quality, non-credit short classes.

Nationwide, there are 125 university-affiliated Osher Institutes, from Maine to Hawaii. For information about the OLLI network, educational trips and travel, and other resources, visit the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute National Resource Center.

New Adventures in Learning

New Adventures in Learning

You’ve learned a lot over the years. But as those years go by, it seems there’s so much more you want to know. You’re the reason we offer the New Adventures in Learning program. It’s for retirement-age adults who love to learn new skills and explore new topics, without having to worry about grades, homework, or tests. It’s lifelong learning for learning’s sake.

How it works:

The program, which is run entirely by volunteers and supported by CGCC, gives seniors access to dozens of classes every spring, summer, and fall.

Topics include everything from military history and genealogy to blogging and current events. Best of all, you can take as many classes as you’d like for a low annual membership fee of $60 that goes to the NAIL organization, plus a $20 fee each semester that is collected by CGCC.

New Adventures in Learning classes are held at the Sun Lakes Center of Chandler-Gilbert Community College located on the northeast corner of Alma School and Riggs roads.

Military & Veteran Education Services

Central Arizona College (CAC) is proud and honored to serve Military and Veterans students, along with their spouses and dependents, for their education needs.

CAC has been approved by the State Approving Agency (SAA) to administer the VA Education Benefits program and is approved for Military Tuition Assistant (TA) for all branches of the United States Armed Forces. The Military & Veteran’s Services Department at CAC is located at the main campus in Coolidge, Arizona, and is excited to help students in getting started using Military or Veterans benefits here at Central Arizona College.
