City updates dog-park rules to allow kids despite the concerns of some.
An InMaricopa article by Monica D. Spencer, 2/09/2023 about dog park rule changes prompted by the opening of the new Pacana Park Dog Park.
The City of Maricopa is transitioning city dog parks from one large dog park at Copper Sky to three smaller parks. Pacana Park is the first of the neighborhood parks. Later there will be a new dog park at the new Civic Center Park and a new , smaller park at Copper Sky.

AARP Survey: 78% of workers age 40-65 have seen or experienced age discrimination.
An article by Monica D. Spencer in the June 2023 issue of InMaricopa magazine addresses the issue of ageism in the workplace.
"Ageism, as the name suggests, is a form of discrimination based on age and one that has become more prevalent as Baby Boomers and late Gen Xers stay in the workforce. In fact, a 2021 survey by AARP reported 78% of workers age 40-65 had seen or experienced age discrimination in the workplace."
This is an interesting read and important for any senior currently considering remaining in the job market or thinking about returning to it.
